Benedict Arnold Doth Covet

Rachel Maddow and crew are rioteous. What a cute bunch of serious youngsters(to some one near 80 anyway). They can make me wear out my LCD Monitor; I have them on all day, waiting to hear what they'll come up with next. I'm watching them this morning, alright; when all's said by everyone who commented on the J. Lieberman matter; the little lady of the set gets that Baseball pitcher's look of hers settled on the face that we seniors are proud of; comes out of left field(awham!) "I don't understand why they want that guy back any way!" I had two heads of company in for decaffienated brew; we're having like: A mature senior(I thought)sit-down; but our little Announcer-doll goes and said that; what a Hencoop she turn-ed my house into!. "Halleliua!' shouted one visitor, and "Amen' cried another and we were exclaiming up to about a quarter of 2-o' the clock. The loudest mouth beside mine said "Thank G-d somebody said it! The Prez-elect and all involved seems afraid to say it. I'm glad she's as she is!" I said he's trying to give Mr. Lieberman chance to take respon-sibility and graciously bow out" but the quiet one of us cackled "Since when did back stabbers start thinking graciously, Jaye?" You wouldn't believe there was a Republican amongst us. She goes on 'Decent Republicans votes 'Party' because they're true to their party; the same as Democrats vote true to theirs; with out bias. This man proved, not by anyone's slander of him, but by his own actions that he can't be trusted anywhere!" While she's venting, the bigger mouth amongst us is saying (before #2 is finished) "You're right this time; Candi. I 'll give you that; since he switched sides though, why doesn't he stay where he'd stay? Benedict Arnold is riding a host!" I said "I don't see it like that; Arnold is looking across the Great Divide with coveting eyes to see who stole his identity, and is probably hoping he'd been so lucky!" The place sounded like a hen-house. While Marsha was still teaching at -------, --- High School back in the 60's we felt that a subject we were correcting papers on( her classes' Homework) was unfair about unfortunate Benny Arnold because he was doing his job; took orders and the fall. Lieberman acted on his own accord, never so honorably. Shouldn't he carry through on it? What's wrong w/Republicans that he can't stay where he went? With this guy around, it's obvious you can't be certain of what he'd do. I believe that if Arnold had anything to say in this it would be "Huh; I doth covet his head!" He's getting off with a form of treason!
